Google announces Gemini 3.1 Pro

Google released Gemini 3.1 Pro in preview on February 19, 2026 - its first ".1" mid-cycle Gemini update - built for complex problem-solving and advanced reasoning. It scored 77.1% on ARC-AGI-2, which Google describes as more than double Gemini 3 Pro's reasoning performance on that benchmark.

It rolled out via the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Android Studio, Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and the Gemini app/NotebookLM for paid tiers.
